## Getting Started

### Download the App

- **iOS**: Search "Tracios Volunteer" on the App Store
- **Android**: Search "Tracios Volunteer" on Google Play

### Logging In

1. Open the app
2. Select your event from the list
3. Enter your volunteer credentials (provided by race director)

## Device Assignment

### Assigning a Device to a Runner

1. Tap "Assign Device"
2. Enter the runner's bib number
3. Hold your phone near the device (NFC)
4. Confirm the assignment

### Tips for Fast Assignment

- Have bib numbers visible on runners
- Pre-stage devices in numerical order
- Practice the NFC tap technique

## Device Return

### Processing a Return

1. Tap "Device Return"
2. Hold phone near the device
3. Confirm return

### Post-Race Returns

If a runner returns a device after the event:
1. Use the "Late Return" option
2. Note condition of device
3. Update device status

## Troubleshooting

### Common Issues

- **NFC not detected**: Enable NFC in phone settings
- **Wrong device scanned**: Ensure only one device is near phone
- **Network errors**: Check cellular/WiFi connection
